About Liveliwood Co
16 years in the trade.Personally involved in every project.
A North Devon carpentry, joinery and building company run by Ashley Cole, so the person who quotes your project is the person responsible for it.
Our story
Fine joinery and structural building from one team.
Ashley Cole started in the construction trade at a young age and has built up 16 years of hands-on experience across most building and woodworking disciplines. Liveliwood Co is the result: a business that can take on a bespoke kitchen one month and a full extension the next.
We help North Devon homeowners who want work done properly: people who would rather pay a fair, fixed price once than pay twice for a job that fails. That includes families who have outgrown their home, people working from home who need a proper office, and owners of older properties that need careful repair.
Ashley works with a core team of three and brings in trusted specialist subcontractors where needed. Together they handle bespoke cabinetry, kitchens and garden offices through to extensions, roofing and new builds, plus assistance with (or full management of) planning and Building Control.
We cover North Devon, including Barnstaple, Braunton, Woolacombe, Bude, Bideford, Ilfracombe, Croyde and Saunton.
Mission and standards
Practical, quality-first work you can plan around.
Quality standards
Measure properly, use the right materials for the building and the setting, and fit work to walls and floors as they really are. New builds are built to industry-standard structural warranties.
How we work
Every job starts with a free site visit and a fixed quote. Larger projects run on a formal contract with a deposit and stage payments, so you always know where you stand.
Guarantees
Every job carries a 5-year workmanship guarantee, and Liveliwood Co holds £2M public liability insurance on the work carried out at your property.
